Up and down the country, churches are facing a growing gap between the age of their youth and the rest of church members. Most young people go off to University and do not return home to areas where living costs are high. Sutton Coldfield is such a place.

However, over the past year at DSC the Paradox group has developed to a healthy size of about 14 people. We meet every Thursday evening and for the past 18 months we have been studying Acts with the intention to become effective disciples of Jesus.

The following is a range of activities for those in their 20's - 30's.

Paradox

Paradox meets weekly on Thursday evenings in the Dens, except the 2nd of each month, when the guys and girls meet separately. Paradox meets to listen to what God is saying to us today through His Word and to encourage and support each other in life, spiritual growth and Kingdom service. 20's - 30's Weekend Away

Last year, Paradox went to the Gower in Wales for a weekend away. It was so good we thought that a weekend away should become an annual event. The main purpose is to spend some quality time together relaxing and reflecting that normal life at home doesn't allow. News about the weekend away will be available soon – so if you're interested, watch this space or speak to Carl.
